    摘要： A reaction tray specially suited for membrane hybridizations is disclosed. A tray 102 manufac­tured of firm but inexpensive material has a flat bottom. A firm but flexible overlay 106 is placed atop a membrane to evenly distribute a freely diffusing reactant, hinder evaporation, and avoid contamination. A lid 104 is friction fit onto the tray 102. The tray assembly 102/104/106 is floated on a water bath for the duration of the hybridiza­tion reaction. Manual handling of dangerous reactants and the delicate membrane is minimized. Low manufacturing costs allow the tray assembly to be disposable after a single use.
