The chain link-type pinions are designed to be flexible, displaceable or pivotable in such a manner that upon rotation of the chain link-type pinions through 180° the toothed segments and hence the devices are offset by the amount of one tooth spacing and changed in the working position thereof, and at the same time the chain link-type pinions are moved to and fro by half the tooth spacing.
