    摘要: A double-speed changing section (10) doubles the frequency of a video signal. A drive control circuit (34) creates PWM dimming frequency information according to a synchronizing signal outputted from the double-speed changing section (10) so that the relation between the PWM dimming frequency f and the black display ratio B may be f>=25B+250 and B>10 and sends the information to a PWM dimming signal generator circuit (17). A drive control circuit (34) drives a gate driver (12) and a source driver (13) for an image display period and a black display period defined by dividing one frame period. The PWM dimming signal generator circuit (17) generates a PWM dimming signal according to a synchronizing signal and the PWM dimming frequency information and sends it to an operating circuit (16). The operating circuit (16) operates and dims a back light unit (15) according to the PWM dimming signal. Thus the colored interference fringes of a liquid crystal display formed when the black insertion driving and the PWM dimming are combined can be reduced.
