At a first equalizer A, a scattered pilot signal is interpolated in time direction and frequency direction, thereby obtaining a channel characteristic H. By complex-dividing a received signal Y subjected to FFT by the channel characteristic, the respective signal is reconstituted. At a second equalizer B, a resultant signal is hard-decided, thereby obtaining a mapping vector X. Then, by dividing the received signal Y by X, a channel characteristic is calculated again. The calculated channel characteristic having reliability is substituted for the original channel characteristic. The substituted channel characteristic is filtered in frequency direction. In this way, a channel characteristic H' is calculated again and a signal point is reconstituted.
