摘要: A method for taking custody of (22, 23), transporting (25A, 25B, 25C) and installing (24) an air conditioner having an outdoor unit (10) which uses a flammable refrigerant and includes a refrigeration cycle comprising a compressor (1), an expansion device (4) and an outdoor heat exchanger (3) which are connected to one another through pipes, wherein the outdoor unit (10) is shipped from a factory (21) while the refrigeration cycle is evacuated to produce a vacuum, the outdoor unit (10) is kept in custody (22, 23)) and transported (25A, 25B, 25C) in a state in which the vacuum in the refrigeration cycle is maintained, and when the outdoor unit (10) is installed, the flammable refrigerant is charged into the refrigeration cycle. With this structure, it is possible to provide a method for taking custody of (22, 23), transporting (25A, 25B, 25C) and installing (24) an apparatus having a refrigeration cycle in which safety is assured when the apparatus having the refrigeration cycle is being transported (25A, 25B, 25C) or kept in custody (22, 23), the efficiency of the disposing operation is enhanced, and a problem such as deterioration of performance is not generated.

摘要: To present a refrigeration cycle of high reliability by controlling, in a refrigeration cycle, deposit of foreign matter at inlet or outlet of a capillary tube in a simple and inexpensive structure, regardless of changeover of cooling operation and heating operation. In a refrigeration cycle using an alternative refrigerant, a junction 3b of a capillary tube 3a composing an expansion device 3 and a piping 5 has a slope 6 gradually decreased in inside diameter from the piping 5 side to the capillary tube 3a side. An end portion of the capillary tube 3a projects into the junction 3b at the piping 5 side. The projecting end of the capillary tube 3a is opened obliquely to the axial line of the capillary tube. A hole is formed in the peripheral wall of the projecting end of the capillary tube 3a. In such constitution, foreign matter in the refrigerant is forced to deposit in other portions than the capillary tube 3a, and the foreign matter is removed from the refrigerant. At the same time, the depositing foreign matter is prevented from having effects on the flow of the refrigerant.

The ventilation system is comprised of a detector which detects a flammable gas or refrigerant, a ventilating fan which ventilates a room, a ceiling fan and an air conditioner indoor unit which stir the air of the room, en electric power supply switch which turns off a power supply to a fan heater or an electric stove. With this configuration, in the room, a localized stagnation of the gas can be avoided and a source of fire can be eliminated; thereby, a superior safety can be realized.
