    摘要: A monoclonal antibody having specificity to N-glycolyl type GM₂ and a hybridoma producing a monoclonal antibody which has specificity to N-glycolyl type GM₂ are described. The hybridoma can be established according to a method which comprises the fusion of (A) B-­cells obtained by immunizing an animal from which thymus is removed when it is a neonate using a synthetic N-glycolyl type GM₃ as an immunogen, and (b) myeloma cells. The monoclonal antibody can be used in, for instance, ELISA and TLC immunostaining which are usually adopted for the detection of cancer-related glycolipids.
