The cleaning device (110) according to the invention comprises at least one fluid device (120) for loading the material to be cleaned (116) with at least one cleaning fluid (118). The cleaning device (110) comprises at least one electrical consumer (158). The cleaning device (110) further comprises at least one electrical connection (160) for supplying the cleaning device (110) with electrical energy. Furthermore, the cleaning device (110) has at least one energy store (162). The cleaning device (110) is configured to receive electrical energy via the electrical connection (160) and to store it intermediately in the energy store (162). Furthermore, the cleaning device (110) is configured to supply the at least one electrical consumer (158) with electrical energy from the energy store (162).
