摘要: Provided is a rotary valve which uses a seal member having a shape in which a plurality of functions is integrated. The rotary valve includes a rotor 1, and a casing 2 including a rotor accommodating space 2a that accommodates the rotor 1. A rotor opening 15 which is a passage of cooling water is provided in the rotor 1. Openings 25a and 26a which communicate with the rotor opening 15 are provided at positions of an inner circumferential surface of the rotor accommodating space 2a which oppose an outer circumferential surface of the rotor 1. Seal members 77 are provided to extend from the openings 25a and 26a toward the rotor 1. A tip end abutting portion 80 of the seal member 77 which abuts on the rotor 1 includes an inwardly curved portion 81. The inwardly curved portion 81 functions as a seal and also functions as a spring. The inwardly curved portion 81 is narrowed inwardly toward a tip end side, and is curved to be folded back.

摘要: Provided is a rotary valve which can be easily reduced in size and can be restrained from being large in size even when a plurality of inflow ports or a plurality of outflow ports are provided. The rotary valve includes a rotor 1 and a casing 2 which accommodates the rotor 1. The casing 2 is provided with a rotor accommodating space 2a which rotatably accommodates the rotor 1. The casing includes an inflow side opening 23a through which a fluid flows in from the outside to the rotor accommodating space 2a and two outflow side openings 25a and 26a through which the fluid flows out from the rotor accommodating space 2a to the outside, at a position opposite to an outer circumferential surface of the rotor 1. The rotor 1 is formed in a cylindrical shape having an internal space, an end surface of the rotor 1 is provided with an end surface side opening 14 which communicates with the internal space. The outer circumferential surface of the rotor 1 is provided with a rotor outer circumferential opening 15 and a rotor outer circumferential blocking surface 16 which are configured to open and close the outflow side openings 25a and 26a of the casing 2.

摘要: Provided is a coolant-control valve that is able to perform the initialization learning using a stopper and to provide an efficient structure, by providing an initialization learning stopper within an actuator which drives a valve body. The coolant-control valve is equipped with a rotor that is driven to control a flow rate of coolant for cooling an engine, a casing that houses the rotor, and a rotary drive device 3 that drives the rotor. Control means of the rotary drive device 3 has an initialization learning function of an operating range of the rotor. The rotary drive device 3 is equipped with a motor 33 and a reductiongear 34. The operating range of the rotor is restricted, by restricting the operating range of an output gear 41 among power transmission elements provided in the reduction gear 34. Furthermore, a groove 43 of the output gear, and a fixed-angle stopper 44 inserted into the groove 43 are provided as restricting means for use during initialization learning by the control means.

摘要: To provide a coolant control valve apparatus using a rotary valve that can suppress involvement of an extraneous material and can rotate a rotor even when such an extraneous material is involved. In an engine cooling system provided with a main channel 4 that connects an engine 1 and a radiator 3, a coolant control valve apparatus 10 that controls a flow rate of coolant water in the main channel 4 has a main valve 11 that is the rotary valve. The main valve 11 includes a rotor 12 and a casing 20 that has an inner peripheral surface facing an outer peripheral surface of this rotor 12, and a gap is provided between the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 12 and the inner peripheral surface of the casing 20. The inner peripheral surface of the casing 20 has a main opening part 30 that is connected to the main channel 4, and this main opening part 30 is provided with a sealing member that protrudes to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 12 so as to be in touch with the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 12. This sealing member composes a channel that connects an opening part of the rotor 12 and an opening part of the casing 20.
