While the first heat exchanger is allowed to function as a condenser, a part of a high-pressure refrigerant flowing from the first heat exchanger to the second heat exchanger is enabled to flow through the injection pipe, and while the first heat exchanger is allowed to function as an evaporator, a part of the refrigerant allowed to have the intermediate pressure by the second expansion device is enabled to flow through the injection pipe, such that a discharge temperature of the compressor is controlled so as not to become too high in any of cooling and heating operations.

    摘要: An air-conditioning apparatus (100, 200, 300) uses R32, a refrigerant mixture containing R32 and HFO1234yf and in which the R32 has a mass percentage of 40 % or higher, or a refrigerant mixture containing R32 and HFO1234ze and in which the R32 has a mass percentage of 15 % or higher as a heat-source refrigerant. The air-conditioning apparatus (100, 200, 300) has a low-pressure shell-structure compressor (1), a first flow switching valve (2), a heat-source-side heat exchanger (3), first flow control devices (9c to 9e), and a plurality of use-side heat exchangers (C to E) that are connected by refrigerant pipes so that a refrigeration cycle is formed. The compressor (1) has a compression chamber that is provided within a sealed container and that has an opening extending between inside and outside of the sealed container. The air-conditioning apparatus (100, 200, 300) is capable of performing a heating operation in which only heating is performed at the use-side heat exchangers (C to E), a cooling operation in which only cooling is performed at the use-side heat exchangers (C to E), and a cooling and heating mixed operation in which heating and cooling are performed in a mixed fashion at the use-side heat exchangers (C to E). The air-conditioning apparatus (100, 200, 300) includes an injection pipe (23) that connects a refrigerant circuit constituting the refrigeration cycle to the opening, and a second flow control device (24) that is provided in the injection pipe (23) and that controls an injection amount of refrigerant to be supplied to the compression chamber. The refrigerant circulating through the refrigeration cycle is injected into the compressor (1) by supplying the refrigerant into the compression chamber via the injection pipe (23) and the opening.
