    摘要: Provided is an optical recording medium comprising at least a dye layer, a reflective layer and a protective layer provided on a substrate, wherein an azo compound or a metal complex thereof having an absorption maximum at a wavelength falling in a range of 450 to 630 nm and a phthalocyanine compound having an absorption maximum at a wavelength falling in a range of 680 to 900 nm are contained in the above dye layer. This optical recording medium is an interchangeable optical recording medium having good recording characteristics, which can be recorded and/or reproduced based on the CD standards with light having a wavelength selected from a range of 770 to 830 nm and recorded and/or reproduced as well with light having a wavelength selected from a range of 620 to 690 nm.
