    摘要: When a control signal is "H", a chopper control circuit (22) stops operation of the chopper mechanism (2). So, a pyroelectric infrared detector element (1) outputs only a changed factor caused by movement of a person. A gain control circuit (32) increase a gain of an AC amplifier (31). Thus, a function as a moving person detector is provided. When the control signal is "L"₁ the input infrared ray is cyclically interrupted by the chopper mechanism (2). So, the pyroelectric infrared detector element (1) outputs a total of the input infrared ray energy. The gain control circuit (32) decrease the gain of the AC amplifier (31). Thus, a function as a radiation temperature detector is provided.

    摘要: In a frost and dew sensor composed of two thermosensitive resistors, a power source and an arithmetic circuit, frost or dew is detected from the change of a differential temperature between the two thermosensitive resistors as two different currents from the power source are supplied to the respective thermosensitive resistors. In an alternative form, the sensor has a single thermosensitive resistor, which is energized as two different currents are alternately supplied from the power source so that frost or dew is detected by comparison of the time-­lags between the two outputs from the thermosensitive resistor.

    摘要: A casing is produced by bonding a base plate (7) to a cap (8) and sealing the bonded portion (A) so as to keep the interior of the cap (8) in an air-tight state. A magnetic detector (5) is disposed in the cap such that the magnetic detecting surface (5a) of the magnetic detecting element (5) constituting the magnetic detector is in contact with the ceiling of the inner wall of the cap (8) and a holder (4) for holding the magnetic detecting element (5) is separated from the upper surface of the base plate (7). When the base plate (7) is engaged with the cap (8), a lead-out terminal (17) from the magnetic detecting element presses the terminal (18) provided on the base plate side direct­ly or indirectly through a conductive material. Since the detecting surface (5a) of the magnetic detector is constantly in contact with the ceiling of the inner wall of the cap (8), the magnetic detection accuracy is enhanced and the electrically connecting operation of a lead-out terminal from the magnet­ic detecting element is greatly facilitated.

    Small through holes corresponding to the connecting terminals of a sensor chip for connecting the sensor chip to external elements and electrode patterns serving as lead frames are continuously provided for respective sensors in the longitudinal direction on a sheet-like tape carrier composed of a protective insulation material. The sensor chips are mounted on the tape carrier and the terminals of the sensor chips are connected to the corresponding elec­trode patterns through the corresponding small through holes, thereby completing the assembly packaging a sensor of a plurality of sensor elements. The thus-obtained sensor elements arranged in alignment and in parallel on the tape carrier are separated from each other and mounted on respec­tive sensor bases and packaged.
