摘要: Functionality is described by selecting a channel in an environment in which non-privileged entities have subordinate access rights to spectrum compared to privileged entities. The functionality operates by identifying spectrum that is available to all nodes involved in communication (where the nodes are associated with non-privileged entities). The functionality then generates a suitability assessment for each candidate channel within the available spectrum. The functionality selects a channel having the most desirable suitability assessment. The functionality can form a suitability assessment for a candidate channel of arbitrary width, e.g., by combining suitability assessments associated with constituent spectrum units within the candidate channel.

摘要: Heterogeneous battery cell charging techniques are described for a device having a battery system with heterogeneous battery cells. A control system is provided that is configured to determine a charging strategy for charging the heterogeneous battery cells based upon an analysis of a plurality of contextual factors. For example, contextual factors may indicate anticipated future load conditions, battery usage preferences established for the battery system, and/or other factors indicative of an overall context in which charging occurs. Different charging strategies that indicate which battery cells to charge and the way in which charging is to be conducted may be mapped to different combinations of the contextual factors such that the charging is dynamically tailored to different contexts. A selected charging strategy is then employed to distribute charging current from a power source among the heterogeneous battery cells in the manner designated by the selected charging strategy.

摘要: Technologies pertaining to sharing an application installed on a mobile computing device with another computing device are described herein. An indication is received that the application is desirably shared with the another computing device. Responsive to receiving such indication, a communications channel is automatically established between the mobile computing device and the another computing device, and display data generated at the mobile computing device is transmitted to the another computing device by way of the communications channel. The display data is displayed on the another computing device.

摘要: In accordance with implementations of the subject matter described herein, there provides a solution for multi-path RDMA transmission. In the solution, at least one packet is generated based on an RDMA message to be transmitted from a first device to a second device. The first device has an RDMA connection with the second device via a plurality of paths. A first packet in the at least one packet includes a plurality of fields, which include information for transmitting the first packet over a first path of the plurality of paths. The at least one packet is transmitted to the second device over the plurality of paths via an RDMA protocol. The first packet is transmitted over the first path. The multi-path RDMA transmission solution according to the subject matter described herein can efficiently utilize rich network paths while maintaining a low memory footprint in a network interface card.
