In accordance with the invention, the yoke element is in the shape of a yoke straddling the object (9) to be fastened in an active condition, and gripping means (22, 23; 21, 28) releasable at least at one side of the object to be fastened (9) are provided to keep the yoke element (12) and the support (11) together on both sides of the object (9) to be fastened in the object-abutting relationship, tightening means (33, 37) additionally being provided to press the support and the yoke element under force-transmission ratio conditions against the object to be fastened in the activated position of the gripping means.
