    摘要: A light diverting device for diverting a part of the light energy transmitted through an optical conductor rod and for taking it out. A light diverting device comprised of a first optical conductor rod having a through-hole in a radial direction; a second and a third optical conductor rod tightly inserted into the through-hole, the edge surfaces of the second and third optical conductor rods in the through-hole being formed so as to be engaged with the inclined surfaces; a fourth optical conductor rod fixed on the outer circumferential surface of the first optical conductor rod so as to cover the inserted portion of the second optical conductor rod. Optical oil is enclosed in a space of the through-hole between the inclined surfaces of the second optical conductor rod and that of the third optical conductor rod. A cover member covering the edge portion liquid-tightly at the opposite side to the inclined surface of the third optical conductor rod and firmly fixed on the outer circumferential surface of the first optical conductor rod.

    摘要: A solar ray collection apparatus includes a capsule and a solar ray collector housed in the capsule. The solar ray collector is controlled to chase the sun in response to an output of a photodetector which may be located inside or outside the capsule. The capsule comprises a number of interconnected transparent members which are inclined by a specific angle which effects the most efficient collection of the solar energy at any position of the sun. The apparatus is excellent in mechanical strength and resistivity to wind due to unique configuration of each transparent member.

    摘要: Optical conductor tubes preferable for use in connecting with each other, in order, on the rooftop of a building or the like and for hanging downward, and a connecting member capable of surely or reliably connecting those optical conductor tubes with each other. The optical conductor tube is made up of an optical conductor rod and the protecting tube for protecting it. The protecting tube is made thickly and has a threaded portion on its outer circumferential surface at one edge portion thereof, and has another threaded portion on its outer circumferential surface at another edge portion thereof, and further a groove is formed along the axis of its inner circumferential surface. The connecting member is made up of a sleeve being tightly inserted into the space between the optical conductor rod and the protecting tube and has a projection engaged with the groove on the outer circumferential portion thereof, a nut member engaged with the threaded portion at another edge portion of the protecting tube, and a coupling member having threaded portions on the inner circumferential surfaces of both edge portions thereof which engages with the threaded portions of it at the thickly-formed portion of the protecting tubes.

A transparent spacer of a diameter approximately equal to that of the optical conductor rods is interposed between them and the circumferential portion of the spacer has arc-shaped notches at a plurality of locations thereon. The notches have a transparent support arm engaged therewith and are elongated toward the pipe. The support arm is fixed clippingly by the flange.
