摘要： A strap fastener (10) or buckle for connecting ends of a strap (S), belt or the like is disclosed, which is adapted to adjust the effective length of the strap (S). The strap fastener is formed from a plastic material into an integrally molded structure having a grip head portion (11) at one end and a connecting portion (12) at the opposite end, these portions being connected by a pair of side flanges (13) and (14). A pair of spaced parallel cross bars (15) and (16) extend between and are connected to the side flanges. The grip head portion has a sharply cornered bottom edge (11 d) which serves as a stop for the strap. The cross bar (15) which is disposed adjacent to the grip head portion (11) has a plurality of sharp corners (15e, 15t) defining stops for the strap, one of the corners (15e) being disposed adjacent to the grip head portion (11) and being spaced from the bottom edge (11d) by a distance larger than the thickness of the strap as viewed from the plan. The strap fastener is thus provided with multi-point stops along the path of the strap so that the strap can be retained firmly in place under heavy tension.

摘要： A cord fastener for adjustably fastening a cord (C) includes an integral male member (A1) comprising a grip (11) having at least a pair of spaced grip members, a pair of arms (12) extending obliquely upwardly from the grip members, respectively, and having upper surfaces (22), and a pair of pressers (13,13) joined to the arms, respectively, and disposed outwardly of the arms, respectively. The mate member has at least one cord insertion hole (14) extending through the base and the grip and at least one expanding slot (18) extending across the cord insertion hole. The spaced grip members are divided from each other by the cord insertion hole and the slot, and have gripping ridges (20) extending into the cord insertion hole for biting engagement with the cord inserted through the cord insertion hole. The cord fastener also has a female member (B1) composed of a hollow body (30) having at least one through-hole for reception therein of the grip members and the arms, and lower surfaces engageable with the upper surfaces of the arms when the male member is inserted in the female member. The hollow body has inner surfaces (38) for engaging lower ends of the arms to force the gripping projections into biting engagement with the cord in the cord insertion hole.

摘要： An eyelet assembly comprising a plastic eyelet body including a hollow cylindrical portion and a flangeformed on the upper end of the cylindrical portion and a plastic seat plate including a center hole in which the cylindrical portion of the eyelet body is fitted is disclosed. The eyelet body includes a plurality of vertically spaced arcuate projections of a predetermined thickness formed on the external peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The seat plate includes an engaging portion formed along the inner peripheral edge of the center hole for engaging the projections of the eyelet body. Each of the arcuate projections extends by an angular distance which is less than a quarter of the circumference of the cylindrical portion and the arcuate projections at vertically adjacent levels are staggered horizontally so that they do not vertically overlap each other when viewed from the front side of the eyelet body.

The strap fastener is thus provided with multi-point stops along the path of the strap so that the strap can be retained firmly in place under heavy tension.
