    摘要: A mobile telephone location register ML and a subscriber location register SL are provided in a mobile communication network. In the mobile location register ML, the zonal position of the mobile telephone MT being in a zone is registered. In the subscriber location register SL, the mobile telephone MT which a subscriber SB selects as a receiving terminal is registered. When receiving a call to a subscriber, a switching station SW reads out from the subscriber location register SL the identification number TID of the mobile telephone which the subscriber registers as the receiving terminal. By using the mobile telephone identification number TID, the station reads out from the mobile telephone location register ML the position of the mobile telephone MT, and transmits the call to the mobile telephone registered as a receiving terminal in the zonal position.

    摘要: At the time of controlling the handing over of the service area of a mobile telephone set when the telephone set moves from a first service area to a second service area, the optimum route matching the second service area is set up as the communication channel. A service controller (6) is provided in a mobile communication network, and exchange node information informing devices (7) each of which informs the controller (6) of exchange node information representing its own node are provided in exchange nodes (151, 131, and 132 respectively). The service controller (6) has a storage device (8) which stores the exchange node information and a handing-over execution controller (9) which controls handing-over. When the service area changes to another one as the mobile telephone set (1) moves while communicating with a fixed terminal (5) of another network, the controller (9) determines the gateway repeating exchange node (151) of the channel being used for the communication based on the stored information in the storage device (8) and orders the set-up of a channel from the node (151) to the subscriber exchange node (132) of the service area where the mobile telephone set exists.

    摘要: To register current codec types of a mobile station with a network side, the mobile station 11 notifies, when it conducts the location registration or a mobile user replaces his or her old mobile station, a visitor location switching system 5, which is associated with the current location of the mobile station, of the codec types supported by the mobile station 11 using a mobile communication control signal between the mobile station and the mobile network. Receiving the notification, the visitor location switching system 5 enters the update of the codec types into a location register 41 in a memory home station that controls the mobile network 2. The codec types can be thus registered into the mobile network 2 using the mobile communication control signal. Since the mobile network 2 can always acquire the latest codec types for the mobile station, the discrepancy is canceled between the codecs the mobile station supports and the codecs the network registers.
