摘要: The invention relates to a method for accessing an Internet protocol Multimedia Subsystem type subsystem, said subsystem. According to the invention, a device 14 is firstly connected to a mobile communication network 100, as a visited network, said first network. The method comprises the following steps. The first network sends to the device a first message 22 comprising current location data relating to a location where the device is currently present. The device analyses whether at least one roaming rule associated with the current location data is or is not stored within the device. The at least one roaming rule includes, each, at least one parameter for accessing the subsystem. And if the device does store the at least one roaming rule associated with the current location data, then the device sends to the subsystem a second message 218 including a request for connecting to the subsystem. The invention also pertains to a corresponding device.

摘要: The present invention discloses a communication method and apparatus, and pertains to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: receiving, by a first base station, a second base station identity sent by a first mobility management entity MME, and establishing a transmission channel between the first base station and a second base station corresponding to the second base station identity; receiving, by the first base station, data that a first terminal sends to a second terminal; and sending, by the first base station, the data to the second base station over the transmission channel, so that the second base station sends the data to the second terminal. Delay impact on communication between terminals can be reduced by using the present invention.

According to the invention, the roaming device accesses a first subscription relating to a home network 100 and a second subscription relating to an alternative roaming provider network 110. During a registration phase, the roaming device sends, through a visited network 150 and a proxy network 130, to the home network an identifier 22 relating to the first subscription, as a first subscription identifier. The home network sends, through the proxy network, to the visited network data 26 relating to the first subscription. The proxy network sends to the home network a first temporary address 28 relating to the proxy network. The visited network sends to the proxy network a second temporary address 212 relating to the visited network. The roaming device activates 214 only the second subscription. The roaming device sends, through the visited network and the proxy network, to the alternative roaming provider network an identifier 216 relating to the second subscription, as a second subscription identifier. The alternative roaming provider network sends, through the proxy network, to the visited network data 220 relating to the second subscription. The proxy network registers the first subscription identifier, the associated second subscription identifier, the associated first temporary address relating to the proxy network and the associated second temporary address relating to the visited network. And the proxy network sends to the alternative roaming provider network the first temporary address 222 relating to the proxy network. The invention also pertains to a corresponding proxy network.

摘要: Embodiments of user equipment (UE), an enhanced node B (eNB), and methods of signaling for proximity services and device-to-device (D2D) discovery in an LTE network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the UE receives configuration information for a D2D discovery resource pool of a cell. The configuration information includes an indication that the D2D discovery resource pool has been logically divided into a plurality of sub-discovery resource pools. The UE performs an initial transmission of a discovery signal in a discovery period using a single D2D discovery resource from a first sub-discovery resource pool of the plurality of sub-discovery resource pools. The UE performs a number of additional transmissions of the discovery signal in the discovery period using additional D2D discovery resources from sub-discovery resource pools of the plurality of sub-discovery resource pools other than the first sub-discovery resource pool. Other apparatuses and methods are also described.

In the present invention, a query request sent by a second terminal is received; address information of a first terminal is obtained from a pre-stored correspondence among a terminal identifier, an application identifier, and address information based on the terminal identifier of the first terminal and an application identifier of an application; and the address information of the first terminal is sent to the second terminal. The query request that is sent by the second terminal and that carries the terminal identifier of the first terminal and the application identifier is received, and the address information of the first terminal is determined and returned based on the pre-stored correspondence among a terminal identifier, an application identifier, and address information, so that the second terminal can directly send data to the first terminal based on the address information of the first terminal, so as to avoid a handshake procedure that is often required between the second terminal and an application server, thereby reducing network signaling load.

摘要: A reachability management method and device for a machine-to-machine/man (M2M) terminal/terminal peripheral are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, which relates to machine-to-machine/man communications. The reachability management method for the M2M terminal/terminal peripheral provided in the present invention includes the following steps: when selecting to switch to an M2M stub network, the M2M terminal/terminal peripheral sending a detach request message to a corresponding network side device, wherein the detach request message comprises a terminal signalling connection retention indication; and meanwhile, the M2M terminal/terminal peripheral sending a registration request message to an M2M gateway, wherein the registration request message contains an identifier of the network side device. A terminal, a network side device and an M2M gateway device are also provided in the embodiments of the present invention. By applying the method and device of the present invention, the network may implement effective reachability management to the M2M terminal/terminal peripheral through the M2M gateway.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method and system for enabling and facilitating roaming of subscribers of a home public land mobile network (HPLMN) equipped with long term evolution (LTE) devices into a LTE access network of a visited PLMN (VPLMN). Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services are not supported in the HPLMN or the roaming subscribers do not have the VoLTE services. The VPLMN only supports the VoLTE services. Alternatively, the VPLMN supports VoLTE and circuit switched fall back (CSFB) to a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network, but the roaming subscriber's LTE device does not support CSFB to the CDMA network. A non-VoLTE inbound roaming subscriber is registered in a home location register (HLR) as if the roaming subscriber were roaming in a VPLMN circuit switched domain. A local IMS subscription with telephony services is created and the telephony services are provided to the non-VoLTE inbound roaming subscriber.
