    摘要: The invention relates to a silane coating material and to a method for the production of a silane coating. In order to create a silane coating material according to the generic term, in which the disadvantages stated above can be avoided, a method for the production of a silane coating according to the invention is proposed, wherein one or more silanes that are not, or are only slightly, pre-condensed, are added to a reaction partner and the resulting coating material is applied to a substrate and cured. Surprisingly it has been found that by means of the reaction of higher molecular and possibly slightly pre-cross-linked silanes and a suitable reaction partner a new class of coating materials can be created. According to prior art, silanes are processed via sol-gel processes, starting with pre-condensed species. The procedural method according to the invention is advantageous insofar as no restrictions exist with regard to the working life, and additionally improved properties of the coating material are achieved, particularly high scratch resistance.

In order to create a vehicle paint having extremely high scratch and chemical resistance, particularly for use in multi-layer coating for OEM series coating (particularly as a clear coat or base cast), the invention provides a method for the production of a highly abrasion-resistant vehicle paint, comprising the following steps: a. providing at least one organic monomer, oligomer, prepolymer, or organosilanes having one or more organic functional groups, or mixtures thereof, b. saturating the functional groups described in a. by reacting them with silanes having organic side chains containing one or more corresponding functional groups, wherein the resulting silane has at least six SiOR groups and a molar mass of greater than 300, c. absorbing the resulting macro-molecular silanes in solvent, preferably a protic or aprotic solvent, or mixtures thereof, d. adding reaction partners, particularly acids, Lewis acids, bases or Lewis bases, e. applying the vehicle paint created in this manner onto a substrate, and f. curing the coating material.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a coating material as well as the use of said coating material. The aim of the invention is to devise a method for producing a novel coating material which allows scratch-resistant coatings to be produced and can also be used as coating powder. Said aim is achieved by reacting one or more organic molecules, oligomers, or polymers comprising at least one functional group with one or more silanes comprising at least one functional organic group on an organic side chain in order to form a covalent bond between the organic molecule, oligomer, or polymer and the silane such that a polymolecular silane is obtained which can be directly cured using a catalyst. Surprisingly, reacting (optionally slightly pre-crosslinked) organically functionalized silanes, e.g. silanes having an NCO functionalization, with suitable reaction partners has shown that a novel class of compounds can be produced which can be used as a coating material, e.g. in the form of coating powders, high solid binders, or 100 percent resins.
