Abstract:
Sole structures for articles of footwear, including athletic footwear, include a relatively soft and lightweight foam midsole component partially covered by at least one more rigid and/or dense cage (protective) component(s) and/or other protective component(s).

Abstract:
Aspects hereof relate to a footwear upper formed from a plurality of tensile strands interwoven with a webbing material. The upper may have a bootie configuration. At least a portion of the strands may extend between a lateral-side portion of the upper and a medial-side portion of the upper and extend over an instep region and/or a sole region of the upper. The tensile strands may be bundled such that a plurality of strands forms a single weft or warp. Bundles having differing quantities of tensile strands may form a pattern on the upper that is effective for aiding conformance of the upper to a wearer's foot while enhancing ventilation and reducing water saturation. The tensile strands, whether singular or bundled, may be effective for transferring a load of a fastening mechanism through the woven upper while allowing the upper to have a desired degree of elasticity, support and/or comfort.

Abstract:
A sole structure for an article of footwear, the sole structure comprising: a heel region, a forefoot region, and a midfoot region disposed between the heel region and the forefoot region; a first fluid-filled segment including a first portion extending from a medial side of the sole structure to a lateral side of the sole structure and including a first end and a second end opposite of the first end; and a second fluid-filled segment including a first portion extending from the lateral side of the sole structure to the medial side of the sole structure, including a first end and a second end opposite of the first end, and being convergent with the first portion of the first fluid-filled segment; wherein the first end of the first portion of the first fluid-filled segment is spaced apart from the first end of first portion of the second fluid-filled segment, the first portion of the first fluid-filled segment and the first portion of the second fluid-filled segment extending away from each other to define a substantially V-shape that opens in a direction toward the lateral side of the sole structure.
Abstract:
A sole structure for an article of footwear having an upper, the sole structure comprising: a first fluid-filled segment including (i) a first portion that extends along one of a medial side of the sole structure and a lateral side of the sole structure, (ii) a second portion that extends from the first portion of the first fluid-filled segment toward the other of the medial side and the lateral side, and (iii) a third portion that extends from the first portion of the first fluid-filled segment toward the other of the medial side and the lateral side and is convergent with the second portion.
