摘要: Provided are: a multi-layer coating film, which has an infrared reflective coating film having both high infrared light reflectivity and high visible light transmittance, and has an infrared light reflectivity higher than that of a mono-layered base layer; and a method for forming the multi-layer coating film. In the multi-layer coating film, the infrared reflective coating film includes a scaly infrared reflective pigment and a resin; the infrared reflective pigment is provided with a laminated body, in which a dielectric layer and a metal thin film layer are alternately laminated and the dielectric layer is provided as the outermost layer; the dielectric layer is made of one or two or more selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, niobium pentoxide, cerium oxide, tin-doped indium oxide, zinc oxide and tin oxide; the metal thin film layer is made of a silver compound and has a film thickness of 5-15 nm; when the wavelength λ of incident light in and around the visible region is 250-980 nm and the refractive index of the dielectric layer is r, the film thickness of the dielectric layer is ((Nλ)/(4r))±20nm (where N is 1, 2, or 3); and the infrared reflectivity R1 of the base coating film is less than 80%, and the infrared reflectivity R2 of the infrared reflective coating film is higher than R1.

摘要: Provided is a coating composition that is capable of forming a coating film having excellent infrared light reflectance and visible light transparency, and also having low haze. The coating composition contains flat pigment particles (1), a resin component, and a curing agent. The flat pigment particles (1) include a laminate (10) of dielectric layers (11) and a metal thin film layer (12). The dielectric layers (11) and the metal thin film layer (12) are layered alternately in the laminate (10) and the dielectric layers (11) are located outermost in the laminate (10). The resin component includes at least one selected from the group consisting of tris(2-acryloyloxyethyl) isocyanurate, 2-hydroxyethylbis(2-acryloyloxyethyl) isocyanurate, 1,3,5-triacryloylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine, and triglycidyl isocyanurate.

摘要: To provide an infrared reflective coating composition which is capable of forming an infrared reflective coating film that has both high infrared light reflective properties and high visible light transmittance, while exhibiting high transparency. An infrared reflective coating composition which contains an infrared reflective pigment and a resin component, wherein: the infrared reflective pigment is provided with a layered body wherein dielectric layers and metal thin film layers are alternately laminated, while having one of the dielectric layers positioned as the outermost surface; the dielectric layers are formed from one or more substances selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, niobium pentoxide, cerium oxide, tin-doped indium oxide, zinc oxide and tin oxide; the metal thin film layers are formed from a silver compound; the metal thin film layers have film thicknesses of 5-15 nm; if the wavelength λ of incident light in and around the visible region thereof is 250-980 nm and r is the refractive index of the dielectric layers, the thicknesses of the dielectric layers are ((NX)/(4r)) ± 20 nm (wherein N = 1, 2 or 3); and the ratio of the infrared reflective pigment having a particle diameter of 1 µm or less is 10% by volume or less.
