摘要: The production method disclosed includes a first step, a second step and a third step to be performed in this order. In the first step, a steel material is forged by dies, whereby a forged product including a rough web part (220) and four plate-shaped rough flange parts is produced. In the second step, at least one specified rough flange part, which is at least one of the four rough flange parts, is pressed by a first die, whereby a first bent portion bending outward in an up-down direction VD of the forged product is formed in the specified rough flange part. In the third step, the edge of the first bent portion is pressed by a second die (320) inward in the up-down direction VD, whereby the edge is deformed and a second bent portion (232b) is formed. In the third step, the edge of the specified flange part is deformed while the edge is kept from deforming in a front-rear direction HD.

摘要: In a pressing step, a first forged product (201) is pressed by a first die (310), and thereby, a second forged product (202) including a rough flange (241) having a thickness-changing portion (141) is produced. The thickness-changing portion (141) includes a front part protruding frontward from a side of a rough web part (220) and a rear part protruding rearward from the side of the rough web part (220). Each of the front part and the rear part includes a first part, and a second part that is thicker than the first part and is located farther from the rough web part than the first part. In the pressing step, at least a part of the rough flange that is above or below the web part (thick part) is pressed by the first die (310), whereby the material of the first forged product in the part is caused to flow frontward and rearward, and the thickness-changing portion (141) is formed.

The decentering direction by the second die (20) is a direction perpendicular to each of the clumping direction by the first dies (10) and the longitudinal direction of the bar-like material (51), and is the same direction as the decentering direction of the corresponding pin. This will make it possible to improve material yield while suppressing increase in the facility cost.

In the second preforming process, the first preform is pressed in the pressing direction, which is a direction perpendicular to decentering direction of a region to be a second pin. In the final preforming process, the second preform is pressed from a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the second preform, and further a region to be a counterweight and a region to be a crank arm integrally including a counterweight are pressed in the axial direction of the second preform.
