A system comprises a computer appliance (7) designed to receive, and to present on screen, first information (12) transmitted from identification equipment (6) and based on detection of a jaw bone structure. Modification information which can be introduced into the computer appliance shows a visual dental bridge structure applied on the jaw bone structure with associated teeth and dentine. Orientations for implants are also shown. The computer appliance produces a CAD file which is based on the first information and the modification information. The file is received in a stereolithography machine which issues second information which can be processed in the equipment (9) for production of the physical template with associated through-bores for sleeves which determine recessed positions and directions for the implants. A working model (16) is produced with the aid of the physical template which is also used for hole formation in the jaw bone structure. The invention also relates to an arrangement of a template produced by stereolithography and by means of information from the computer appliance. By means of the invention, the installation of the dental bridge on the patient can be increased at lower cost, with shorter times and a sustained degree of accuracy.

When producing a dental product, use is made of a sensing apparatus (4) which reads the shape of a product. In this context, a quantity of information (8) is obtained and compressed before being transmitted on a remote link and/or data link (2), for example in the public telecommunication network. The apparatus can sense the model in a first coordinate system (5). During the sensing, first coordinates are extracted to second coordinates which belong to a second or a polar sensing system. The second coordinates form or constitute the basis for the control information for a machining equipment which produces, from a blank (19) a product or tool which corresponds to the read-off shape (6) of the model. Alternatively, a number of sets of coordinates, which, together with a selected set of coordinates, represent one and the same reading position, are discriminated against. The reduction in the reading information takes place in dependence on the surface size of the simulated sensing so that a greater reduction occurs with a larger surface size and vice versa. The quantity of information from a non-mechanical reading principle can be used to simulate a mechanical reading principle which conforms with the mode of operation of the machining equipment.

The anchoring part, the spacer sleeve part and the prepared or preparable part are arranged in one piece, the configuration and direction of the prepared or preparable part (7) being substantially adapted or adaptable to the anatomy of the lost or extracted tooth, for example to the inner arc-shaped surface, and to the direction of said tooth. The one-piece implant (3) affords a rapid and less traumatic replacement function compared to previously used three-part bridges.

An agent which stimulates bone growth, in the form of HA, is used in connection with the device. The device, the surface or the portion comprises or consists of compressed bone-compatible and/or tissue-compatible material in the form of titanium powder. The titanium powder is mixed with the agent, which is also in powder form, and a composite material is formed with the two powders by means of impact compaction. The invention also relates to a method and use in connection with devices of the type in question. A novel type of HA use is made possible and eliminates, inter alia, the disadvantages of loosening HA layers during production of the device.

The module system controls or determines the supply or (amount) of gold to the casting tool. A dental crown or unit can be made of cast gold. A known ordering and manufacturing system can be used and retain its effective and rapid functions at the same time as another alternative for tooth replacement is presented on the market.

In a first manufacturing stage, the product is given a shape which is larger than its final shape, and in further manufacturing stages the product is subjected to material shrinkage, sintering and working in order to obtain its final shape. Metal powder is applied to the mold tool, and the mold tool with the applied metal powder is placed in pressure-generating equipment where the powder applied to the mold tool is subjected to compaction pressure which compacts the powder so that at least 80% basic density is obtained in the material. The compacted material is then machined. After machining, the compacted material is removed from the mold tool. The sintering stage is then carried out so that the final shape is obtained.

In a method and arrangement for allocating prosthetic installation work between at least three parties (A, B, C) a dental situation and fixture application are simulated on a computer screen by the first party. The second party produces first components in connection with the prosthetic installation with the aid of a recording and said simulation. Second components are supplied by the third party (C) and the prosthetic installation is assembled and fitted by the first party by means of said first and second components. The recording includes first and second readings of a loose prosthesis and a portion supporting the prosthetic insallation. The simulation includes collation of representations of the readings on a computer screen. Simulated fixture applications are constructed and a model is produced by one of said parties, or a fourth party. An assembly template guides hole-forming members in an actual substrate in directions which correspond to the directions of the fixtures. A dental bridge is provided with attachment holes which connect to the holes formed in the substrate. Fixtures are applied in said formed holes by the first party and the dental bridge is secured in or on said fixtures. The invention also relates to a computer program in connection with the above.
