Abstract:
The invention relates to a game device with a firing device for firing a game coin in a coin running track, which comprises a preferably arcuate deflection path and leads to a target device, wherein the deflection path is enclosed by a recess in a housing front plate and the target device is arranged in the region of said recess, characterized in that the housing front plate is at least in some areas transparent, wherein a display device is arranged behind the housing front plate such that at least a part of the display device is visible through the housing front plate and/or through the recess.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gaming and/or entertainment device, in particular in the form of a coin-operated and/or token-operated slot machine and/or gambling device, having a plurality of separate display units for displaying information, in particular contents of games and/or game information, wherein at least one of the display units is provided with a touch panel for inputting control commands by touch. According to the invention, the touch panel is of continuous design over, in each case, at least part of at least two different display units, at least one display unit of which has a concave display surface. As a result of the touch panel extending over the boundary region or the intermediate space between two display units, it is possible, despite the use of a plurality of display units, to obtain a continuously closed-off device front, as a result of which the design of the corresponding device wall is simplified and the protection against penetration into the housing at gap areas is increased.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device comprising at least one display unit and an illumination device for illuminating an edge region of the at least one display unit. The invention further relates to a method for operating such a display device and to an entertainment device comprising such a display device. The display device according to the invention comprises, in addition to the at least one display unit and the illumination device, at least one determination means for determining a color information from an image block of the at least one display unit, and further comprises a color control means for controlling the color and/or color spectrum of the light emitted by the illumination device as a function of the color information. The color information can be obtained from the light which is actually emitted by the display unit in said image block, for which a light detection device having an observation region that is limited to the image block can be provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lighting system (1) comprising a lighting panel (2), wherein at least one light source (7), assigned to a narrow side of the lighting panel (2), is provided for coupling light into the lighting panel (2). The lighting system (1) also comprises a reflector (5) facing a flat side (8) of the lighting panel (2), wherein the flat side (8) of the lighting panel (2) facing the reflector (5) and/or the reflector (5) and/or an intermediate layer between the reflector (5) and the lighting panel (2) is provided with a surface structure (6). Said surface structure (6) is formed as a line grid made of continuous and intersecting grid lines (9). According to the invention, a high level of homogenisation of the light emission from the lighting panel (2) can be achieved in a simple manner. In this way, in particular, greater transmission losses in the edge regions of the lighting panel (2) are prevented.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a games and/or entertainment apparatus, particularly in the form of a coin-operated and/or cash-value operated gambling machine and/or betting apparatus, having a plurality of screens for showing information, particularly game contents and/or game information, which are oriented towards an apparatus operator terminal, and also having a control device for actuating the screens and/or controlling game cycles. It is proposed that a plurality of screens be arranged in staggered succession so as to overlap one another, so that the viewing window for at least one screen remains, in terms of format and/or size, behind the actual screen surface of the screen so as firstly to accommodate a maximum number of screens in a compact arrangement and secondly not to be limited to the desired field of vision in terms of the formats of the screens to be used. The invention provides for at least one of the screens to be arranged so as to be partly or fully concealed behind at least one further screen when considered from the apparatus operator terminal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for inserting bank notes into a bank note processing device. The bank note processing device has a main body, a support surface for supporting a bank note to be inserted on a flat side, and at least one lateral positioning edge for laterally positioning the slot on the bank note processing device and/or for connecting the slot to the bank processing device in an accurately fitting manner. In particular, the device is a slot. According to the invention, the device for inserting bank notes into a bank note processing device is characterized by setting means for variably setting the position of the positioning edge transversely to the insertion direction of the bank note through the slot.
Abstract:
The present invention relates in general to a game and/or entertainment unit, comprising at least one monitor arranged adjustably on a unit panel. The invention relates in particular to a multi-game table having several player places, at each of which a monitor can be arranged adjustably on a table and/or desk panel. According to the invention, the at least one monitor can be adjusted between a recessed position recessed into the unit panel, substantially without overhang over the unit panel, and an operating position protruding from the unit panel. The recessed position can serve in particular as a rest position, in which the respective monitor is not in the way so-to-speak, and a substantially level unit surface, a table surface in particular, can be created. In said recessed position, the monitor can optionally be fully recessed under the unit panel and a cover can close the corresponding recess. In said recessed position, however, the monitor is preferably recessed to be substantially flush with the panel surface. The monitor position or monitor movement depends on the identity of the player.
