摘要： Provided are: a polymer gel for a medium, and a medium in which the stiffness of the polymer gel can be easily and reversibly changed and the shape of cells can be controlled according to the stiffness of the gel; and a method for culturing cells using the medium. The polymer gel for a medium contains a solvent and a crosslinked structure that is crosslinked by reversible bonds. The stiffness of the polymer gel for a medium can be easily and reversibly changed. Accordingly, when the polymer gel for a medium according to the present invention is used, cell morphology and function can be reversibly controlled according to the stiffness of the gel.

摘要： One mode of an ovum evaluation method according to the present invention is a method for evaluating an ovum, the method including: an analysis step (S21 to S24) of analyzing a deformation state of a target ovum using an image obtained by photographing the ovum to non-invasively obtain an index value obtained by quantifying a mechanical property of the ovum; and an evaluation step (S25) of evaluating a quality of the target ovum on the basis of the index value obtained in the analysis step. As a result, the quality of the ovum can be evaluated accurately according to theoretical criteria on the basis of the result of non-invasive measurement or observation.
