摘要:
The invention relates to a method for producing corrosion resistant welding electrodes made of tungsten or a tungsten alloy. According to the invention, the pretreated welding electrodes are subjected to heat treatment at temperatures of 300 C and 500 C in an oxidising atmosphere. Oxide layers are formed on the surface of the welding electrode, exhibiting a good electrical conductivity and preventing the formation of undesirable corrosion layers with weak conductivity. The inventive welding electrodes thus produced have excellent flammable properties and problem-free combustion behaviour.

The invention relates to a method of reducing the specific resistance of an electrically conducting layer that consists of molybdenum or a molybdenum alloy. The invention is characterized by forming an MoO2 layer on the surface of the electrically conducting layer. The specific layer resistance can thus be reduced by 10 % to 15 %.
