Water flows towards a front end (11) of the male housing (10) due to capillary action. When the water reaches a rear edge (29) of the water stop groove (27) where no upper wall is formed, the water is exposed to a wider space from a narrower space. Accordingly, in a region of the male housing (10) that is positioned forwardly of the rear edge(29), the capillary action no longer works. Surface tension acts on the water, which allows the water to be accumulated rearwardly of the rear edge (29).
