The subject of this invention is capillary distributor and spreading knife for rail lubrication while using special depositing materials. As successful solution for providing of constantly even quantity of the matter at the exits from the lubricating device is distribution of the material through so called capillary distributor. Capillary distributor is comprised in particular of an inlet tube, capillary distribution device, capillaries, and housing. The distributor is comprised of arbitrary number of thin capillaries - tubes of desired length. It is important that the inlet holes are separated with as thin wall as possible. Depending on size of granulates (solid particles) which comprise material for distribution one can determine optimum diameter of holes and length of capillaries - tubes. Said tubes can be inserted into holes in the rail head or into the grooves inside the spreading knife whereas the spreading knife can have arbitrary number of grooves.

Technical problem of time lag between start of operation and application of medium onto the rail vehicle wheel 's flank is solved by line distributor, preferably for anti-noise device for rail brakes wherein the line distributor is positioned directly next to rails to provide for accurate dosage in real time and in required-desired quantity. In such a case the dosage tubes are reduced to the length enabling correct operation of an applicator. The device is preferably used for application of anti-noise material onto wheel's flanks of rail vehicles. In addition flat guides of the applicator are replaced with guides with rounded, preferably essentially elliptical, more preferably essentially circular cross section so the edges of damaged wheels do not transfer shocks onto the device. The distributors in general are devices used for distribution and dosage of medium onto the wheel of the rail vehicle which is approaching part of the rails with additional friction between wheel rim and rail or some other device such as rail switch, rail brake, leading rail or some other device. The medium for purposes of this application in this case is means for spreading around the wheel's flank and it does not necessarily mean means for lowering of a friction coefficient - in fact it may even mean means for increase of said friction coefficient. Said lubricant according to this invention is preferably very complex Composite Heavy Fluid Compound (CHFC).

Said medium and quantity of said medium are chosen such that their use may not significantly impede braking characteristics and/or significantly decrease friction factor between the brake and the wheel (8) which the braking surface (7) engages and applies friction to it. A device according to this invention comprises signal generating means, at least one proximity sensor or switch (6), signal analyzing or processing means, at least one controlling unit (5), metering means for applying correct amount of said medium to delivering means, a controlled-volume pump or pumping device, distributing means for delivering of said medium and medium application means, such as a nozzle (4).

The subject of this invention is Method and device for reduction of corrugation of rails, of noise, and of friction between a wheel and rail and solves technical problem of lubrication of the rail. The advantages of the method and the device are in particular low use of lubricant with high efficiency, controllably regulated dosage, environmentally friendly device manufactured almost entirely of aluminum distributing very low quantities of biologically degradable medium onto predetermined position, contact-less operation even in sharp curves (small radius), negligible maintenance costs, and cycles of filling with medium are sharply reduced which means rationalization of operation. The lubricating device can be quickly mounted or dismounted using attachment spring (6) which additionally reduces operating costs of the device.
