    摘要: Technical problem of time lag between start of operation and application of medium onto the rail vehicle wheel 's flank is solved by line distributor, preferably for anti-noise device for rail brakes wherein the line distributor is positioned directly next to rails to provide for accurate dosage in real time and in required-desired quantity. In such a case the dosage tubes are reduced to the length enabling correct operation of an applicator. The device is preferably used for application of anti-noise material onto wheel's flanks of rail vehicles. In addition flat guides of the applicator are replaced with guides with rounded, preferably essentially elliptical, more preferably essentially circular cross section so the edges of damaged wheels do not transfer shocks onto the device. The distributors in general are devices used for distribution and dosage of medium onto the wheel of the rail vehicle which is approaching part of the rails with additional friction between wheel rim and rail or some other device such as rail switch, rail brake, leading rail or some other device. The medium for purposes of this application in this case is means for spreading around the wheel's flank and it does not necessarily mean means for lowering of a friction coefficient - in fact it may even mean means for increase of said friction coefficient. Said lubricant according to this invention is preferably very complex Composite Heavy Fluid Compound (CHFC).

    摘要: A wayside lubricator for railroad cars has a number of sensors (9, 10, 11) mounted adjacent the track which detect the approach and passage of rail cars. A lubricant supply and a pressurizing system are mounted adjacent the track and in fluid communication with a control valve and spray nozzle (12). The spray nozzle (12) is aimed to shoot lubricant into a target zone when the control valve is opened. The spray nozzle (12) is turned on for a defined duration of time so that the quantity of the lubricant is kept under control. Application of the lubricant to the wheels of the locomotive is avoided by detecting locomotive wheels and leaving the valve closed until they pass. This invention reduces the friction between the wheel tread and rail on curves for the trailing cars and thus reduces the friction and the force that is experienced by the wheel flanges on curves.

    摘要: A rail lubricator for a railroad rail has a nozzle (16,17) adjacent to the rail (14A,15) and attached thereto. The nozzle has a discharge orifice disposed beneath the top surface of the rail. The orifice is aimed generally longitudinally of the rail with the aiming including an upward component and a lateral component toward the centerline of the rail. Jets of lubricant (8,9,21,22) project upwardly from the nozzle, arch above the top surface of the rail, and then fall onto the top surface and gage corner of the rail. This lubricates the top of a rail using an optimum amount of lubricant on the optimum area of the railhead. The lubricant is applied when the nozzles are spanned by a car.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling the delivery of lubricant between two parts that can be moved in relation to one another, especially for lubricating rails, above all in curved tracks, in order to prevent or reduce squeaking noises. To this end, at least one sensor, e.g. a microphone, is provided for picking up acoustic vibrations, especially body acoustic vibrations. The signal of said sensor is fed to a selective amplifier, e.g. to an active bandpass filter, and is used as an actuating variable for initiating the delivery of lubricant. In doing this, at least two frequency bands are filtered out, the intensities of the acoustic vibrations of the filtered frequency bands are compared to one another, and the determined difference or the ratio of the determined values is used as an actuating variable.
