摘要: The invention relates to a shaft for a mechanical device, especially a clipping machine (CM), comprising a drawbar unit (10) which is provided with a mounting end (A) that can be connected to the mechanical device and a gripping end (G) while featuring an operating position. Said drawbar unit (10) is also provided with at least one first and a second drawbar element (20, 40), each of which encompasses a telescopic section. The drawbar unit (10) features a storage position which is different from the operating position and in which the first or the second drawbar element (20, 40) can be reversibly displaced at least in part in a telescope-type manner in relation to the second or first drawbar element (40, 20). The drawbar unit (10) can be reversibly locked in both the operating position and the storage position.
