摘要: To provide an automatic cloth spreading machine that can keep up the number of pieces processed even in the event of failure in handling. This automatic cloth spreading machine includes a separating means for separating pieces of cloth one by one from a mass of cloth consisting of a plurality of pieces of cloth by cloth handling devices, an edge locating means for locating an edge of each of the pieces of cloth having been separated one by one, a spreading means for spreading the piece of cloth, the edge of which has been located, and a discharging means for discharging the piece of cloth having been spread to a subsequent step. The separating means includes multiple units of cloth handling devices that perform the same process, and the multiple units of cloth handling devices simultaneously perform at least one of single- or multiple-step processes of separating pieces of cloth one by one from the mass of cloth.

摘要: It is an object to provide a cloth spreading apparatus capable of eliminating the troublesome work of pulling a cloth when the cloth is held by feeding chucks to reduce burden of the worker and operation time. A cloth spreading apparatus 10 comprises a pair of feeding chucks 22a and 22b grasping adjacent corners Ca and Cb of a cloth C, a moving device 26 for moving the pair of feeding chucks 22a and 22b between a feeding position and a delivery position of the cloth C to draw the cloth, and spreading chucks 42a and 42b for receiving the cloth C directly or indirectly from the pair of feeding chucks 22a and 22b and spreading the cloth C in a direction of separating the adjacent corners Ca and Cb from each other. The moving device 26 has separate moving trajectories p1 and p2 corresponding to the respective feeding chucks 22a and 22b so that the pair of feeding chucks 22a and 22b can move between the feeding position and the delivery position independently of each other.

摘要: There is provided a cloth transfer apparatus that allows a cloth to be attached to a traveling clamp efficiently without waste even when a corner of the cloth to be attached to the traveling clamp is specified. The cloth transfer apparatus comprises: a plurality of independent traveling clamps 10; and a transfer rail 16 circulating through a supply unit 12 where a corner of the cloth C is attached to the traveling clamp 10 and a discharge unit 14 where the cloth is delivered from the traveling clamp 10 and allowing the traveling clamps to independently travel. There are provided in the supply unit 12: a branch point 12A that allows the transfer rail 16 to branch into a first supply rail 163 and a second supply rail 164 and a merge point 12B that allows to the branched first supply rail 163 and second supply rail 164 to be merged.

摘要: To provide a cloth clamping chuck and a cloth handling apparatus that can handle cloth so as to reduce falling of the cloth while avoiding damage to the cloth. A cloth clamping chuck 21 includes a pair of clamps 212, 213 disposed facing each other, and an opening-closing means that moves the pair of clamps 212, 213 relatively closer to or separated from each other. Each of the clamps 212, 213 has, at a leading end, a projecting part 214 or 215 that projects toward the other opposite clamp 213 or 212. Each of surfaces 214a, 215a of the projecting parts 214, 215 on a base end side of the clamps 212, 213 is formed either as a flat surface parallel to a facing direction of the pair of clamps 212, 213 or as an inclined surface inclining toward the above base end side while extending toward the other opposite projecting part 215 or 214.
