摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication that can be used to establish a restricted target wake time (TWT) session on a wireless medium. In some implementations, an access point (AP) establishes a restricted TWT session for one or more wireless stations (STAs) associated with latency sensitive traffic, the restricted TWT session including restricted TWT service periods (SPs) during which the AP reserves access to the wireless medium for only the one or more STAs associated with the latency sensitive traffic. The AP transmits a clear-to-send (CTS) frame at a start of each restricted TWT SP, the CTS frame indicating to other STAs that the wireless medium is unavailable for a duration of the respective restricted TWT SP. The AP transmits latency sensitive data to or receives latency sensitive data from the one or more STAs during at least one of the restricted TWT SPs.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, or apparatuses that support a 20 MHz station (STA) parked on a secondary channel. Without the described techniques, mechanisms to support secondary channel operation may be unable to receive management frames or broadcast traffic from an access point (AP). To facilitate this, the AP may include means for identifying that a STA is associated with the access point on a first secondary channel of the AP, the AP operating using a primary channel and one or more secondary channels, including the first secondary channel, of a total bandwidth of the AP to communicate with a plurality of STAs including the STA, means for identifying a resource unit of the first secondary channel for the AP to use to transmit frames to the STA and means for transmitting one or more frames on the first secondary channel using the identified resource unit.
