The reinforcement components (4) made of fiber-reinforced plastic comprise at least partly unaligned fibers, and the plastic profiled frame (2) is formed as a coextrudate of the unreinforced profiled parts (25) and the reinforcement components (24). The invention further relates to a window which comprises a window frame (6) and at least one integrated window pane (1) according to the invention.

The invention relates to an end cap for closing a hollow chamber of a profile strip of a window, a door, and the like, having mounting elements engaging in the hollow chamber, having an outer perimeter at least partially axially adjacent to the profile strip. The aim of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the known prior art, and to disclose an end cap that can be produced economically and at low cost, allowing standardized sealing and compensating for tolerances, and having sufficient mechanical strength and stability. The aim is achieved according to the invention in that the end cap comprises at least one functional element made at least partially of a soft elastic material.
