PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage property, and stress proofness.SOLUTION: Toner is characterized in that in an X-ray diffraction measurement, a diffraction peak exists at a position of at least 2θ=20° to 25°, and each difference among respective glass transition temperatures to be observed after subjected to heating and cooling under a following temperature rise/fall condition 1 and temperature rise/fall condition 2 using a DSC falls within 10°C. The temperature rise/fall condition 1: Let a start temperature be 20°C, the temperature rises up to 120°C at 10°C/min, is kept at 120°C for 10 minutes, falls down to 0°C at 10°C/min, and rises up to 150°C at 10°C/min without holding time at 0°C. The temperature rise/fall condition 2: Let a start temperature be 20°C, the temperature rises up to 120°C at 10°C/min, is kept at 120°C for 10 minutes, falls down to 0°C at 10°C/min, rises up to 45°C at 10°C/min without holding time at 0°C, and is kept for 24 hours, again falls down to 0°C at 10°C/min, and rises up to 150°C at 10°C/min without holding time at 0°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
