摘要:
The invention relates to a method for starting a sensor- and brushless d.c. motor, the stator windings (22 to 27) of which are fed by a multi-phase d.c. voltage changer (12 to 17). To start the motor, it is first turned to a defined initial or starting position by way of an alignment method by simultaneously supplying it with a current of at least two phases (/W, V). In a second phase, a current supply state of the stator windings is initiated that has the desired current direction and that provides sufficient engine torque. The other current supply states of the corresponding phases (/U, W, /V, U, /W, V) are cyclically obtained and the rotor is set to rotate in synchronicity with the applied rotary field of the rotor. The motor can be used in a motor vehicle and is fed by the battery voltage (UBat) via the input ports (10 and 11). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the current supplied during the alignment step can be adjusted corresponding to the value of the battery voltage and can be increased according to a predetermined curve shape. The invention provides a method for safely and rapidly set the rotor into rotation without producing overswings to the start position.

The invention relates to an electronically commutable motor whose excitation coils can be controlled in a successive manner at a commutation frequency via semi-conductor output stages and can be connected to a direct power supply voltage and disconnected therefrom, whereby said control signals are pulsed and undergo pulse-width modulation. Noise produced when the electrical supply is connected to and disconnected from the excitation coils is minimized by flattening out the rising or falling edge of the current flowing into the excitation coils, by increasing the pulse width ratio in the rising edges of the control signals according to a pre-defined or pre-definable set value for the revolution speed or output of said motor from a low initial value to an operating value assigned to the set point value, and by reducing the pulse width rates, starting from the operating value in the falling edges of the control signals to a low final cut off value according to the actual value of the revolution speed or output of said motor before reaching zero.

The invention relates to an electronically commutable motor whose exciting windings, via semiconductor output stages, can be controlled by an electronic control unit using PWM control signals. A specified value can be given beforehand to the control unit and the control unit transmits corresponding PWM control signals to the semiconductor output stages. The aim of the invention to easily monitor the starting of the motor and to prevent an overloading. To these ends, a monitoring device, using the pre-assignment of the specified value and/or the switching on of the control unit and/or the semiconductor output stages, monitors whether the motor has reached a minimum rotational speed after the completion of a predetermined or predeterminable starting time, and the control unit and/or the semiconductor output stages can be switched off if the minimum rotational speed is not reached.

The invention relates to a method for shifting the commutation time of a sensorless and brushless direct current motor(1) whose stator windings are supplied by a multiple phase converter circuit. Said converter circuit contains an output stage control element (2), a commutating logic (3), a phase selector (4) and a phase discriminator (5). The current value of the voltage induced in a currentless phase at an input (46) as established by the phase selector and a reference voltage (Uref) at a second input (47) are supplied to a commutation identification element (6) for comparison. Said reference voltage (Uref) can be modified by a commutation shift (7) according to a particular curve (71). An adjustment value (Ust) is supplied for the commutation shift (7) by an adjustment value calculating element (8), in dependence on the desired speed (nsoll) of the motor. The commutation shift takes place advantageously parabolically. The shifting of commutation in dependence on the desired value provides a high torque and keeps the torque ripple small, even at high speeds and with a heavy load.

The invention relates to an electronically commutated motor whose exciter windings are controlled through semiconductor end stages of an electronic control unit by means of PWM control signals. A set value can be predetermined for the control unit, said control unit conveying corresponding PWM control signals to the semiconductor end stages. A motor characteristic curve from which a designated nominal operating speed can be derived for the set value is stored in the control unit. This derived nominal operating speed can be compared with the actual speed of the motor. In the event that a predeterminable or predetermined speed difference between the nominal operating speed and the actual speed is exceeded, the control unit and/or the semiconductor end stages can be switched off. The derivation of the nominal operating speed for the predetermined set value is facilitated by a three-dimensional field of characteristics determined by four co-ordinate points.

The invention relates to an electronically commutatable motor whose exciting windings, via semiconductor output stages, can be controlled by an electronic control unit using PWM control signals. A specified value can be given beforehand to the control unit and the control unit transmits corresponding PWM control signals to the semiconductor output stages. The aim of the invention is to enable, already during the run-up phase, the identification of faults, which can lead to an overloading of the motor and of the electronic components thereof, and to prevent an overloading. To these ends, the invention provides that after the pre-assignment of the specified value and/or after switching on the control unit and/or the semiconductor output stages, the control unit transmits PWM control signals, which increase the rotational speed of the motor in a ramp-like manner, to the semiconductor output stages during a predetermined or predeterminable run-up time until the final drive of the semiconductor output stages that corresponds to the specified value is reached. In addition, the invention provides that, during the run-up time, a specified rotational speed which corresponds to the PWM control signals can be compared to the measured actual rotational speed of the motor, and that the control unit and/or the semiconductor output stages can be switched off if the actual rotational speed differs from the specified rotational speed by a predetermined or predeterminable difference in rotational speed.
