摘要： The problem addressed by the invention is that of optimizing operational reliability and combustion monitoring, in particular with regard to possible blockages in the exhaust-gas path and/or increased exhaust-gas emissions owing to deficient combustion quality, in a burner which is fired with gaseous, liquid or solid fuels. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the flame monitoring device (4) has a filter device (5), which absorbs a part of the colour spectrum of the flame light, and a photodetector (6) for filtered flame light, which photodetector is assigned to said filter device and is connected to the regulating device (3), and in that the flame light is transmitted into the filter device (5) on a direct or indirect path.
