At least one of the fuel injection valves (3, 4) is fastened to the associated cup-like element (9, 10) by way of a retention element (15). The retention element (15) has a support surface (16). The cup-like element (9) has, on an underside (20), a contact surface (21) by which the cup-like element (9) is supported, via a damping layer (11), on the support surface (16) of the retention element (15). The retention element (15) is fixed to the cup-like element (9). The fuel injection valve (3) also has a collar (25) which is supported on the retention element (15). Damping of vibrations, and thus a reduction in noise emissions, is possible by means of the damping layer (11).
