The valve devices (3) are set up with a pressure force source (4) which is connected in each case between the coupling housing (2) and the valve device (3) and interact automatically during coupling and disengagement. Each valve device (3) is formed with a sliding device which mounts a receptacle (31) for a valve element (32) in a translationally movable manner along the straight coupling axis (10). The valve element (32) can be displaced translationally together with the valve receptacle (31) and is mounted rotatably by means of a rotational bearing (6) in order to produce a closed position and an open position of the valve device (3). Each coupling part (11) is equipped with a positive guidance device (7) which converts the translational movement of the valve receptacle (31) into the rotational movement of the valve element (32). Flow losses are avoided by the measures. The function and overall design of an emergency disconnection coupling are improved.
