Abstract:
The invention concerns an injection module comprising a ramp (10) to be connected to a supply pump and several injectors (12) connected to the ramp each provided with electric control means for opening and closing them. The module comprises means for storing a calibrating function of each of the injectors (12) and supply the function in a form that can be used by a computing unit (24) controlling the electric means for opening and closing the injectors.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuel injector comprising an injection body (10) containing a needle (12) which ends in a seal element cooperating with a fuel flow seat (28) extended by a distribution hole. The needle can be moved from a first axial position in which the seal element presses against the seat to a second position in which the seal element is moved away from the seat. The fuel injector also comprises a swirl chamber for swirling the fuel about the axis of the seal element which chamber is situated upstream from the seat (28). The chamber is delimited by the side of the seat (28) facing upstream, by a disk (42) which contacts the seat and has slots (48) which tangentially open into a central opening (46) surrounding the seal element, and by a needle guide (40) configured in such a way that it supplies the external end of the slots.
