摘要： The invention concerns a light green silico-sodocalcic glass composition absorbing ultraviolet rays, comprising absorbent optical agents whereof the content varies within the following weight ranges: Fe2O3 (total iron) 0.01 A 0.15 % V2O5 (total vanadium) 0.11 A 0.40 % MnO (total manganese) 0.05 A 0.40 % and exhibiting for a thickness of 3 mm an ultraviolet transmission not more than 40 % and chromatic coordinates (a*, b*) ranging between -3 and 3. The invention also concerns the flat or hollow glass article obtained from said composition.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for making red copper glass that comprises the following steps : providing a mass of sulphide-free, colourless molten glass having a mass iron-oxide content of between 0.01 an 0.15 %; feeding said mass of molten glass into a dispensing channel in which copper oxide and tin oxide are added to said mass of molten glass, the partial pressure of oxygen in said mass of molten glass ranging from 10-7 to 10-4; forming glass objects such as bottles or vials from said mass of molten glass, and heat-treating said glass objects to develop a red colour.
