The method includes determining a required visibility for the high resolution frames. The method also includes generating a pattern that meets the determined required visibility, the pattern having a first quantity of first low resolution frames and a second quantity of second low resolution frames. The method further includes transmitting the pattern to achieve the required high resolution frames.

    摘要： A portable device capable of controlling a piconet selects a logical channel when forming the piconet. The device includes a controller configured to start a first piconet. The controller couples to at least one secondary device in the first piconet. The portable device also includes a transmitter configured to communicate with the at least one secondary device via a wireless communication channel. The controller is configured to select communication channel resources based at least in part on resources allocated to a second piconet in order to mitigate interference between the piconets. The controller is configured to form the first piconet to operate in either a non-interference mode when the controller is able to establish communications with a second controller in the second piconet or a coexistence interference mitigation mode when the controller is unable to establish communications with the second controller in the second piconet.

    摘要： A wireless communication system is disclosed wherein an information source communicates with a mobile station via multiple intermediary base stations located in respective cells of a broadcast zone. In one embodiment, each base station sends multiple information streams that may be received by a mobile station located in the broadcast zone. By receiving multiple information streams from multiple base stations, the mobile station may enhance reception. In one embodiment, a base station transmits an information stream that includes a base layer and another information stream including an enhanced layer. If a receiver in a mobile station receives an enhanced layer with more than a predetermined amount of quality, then the receiver uses information in the received enhanced layer to supplement information in the received base layer.
