摘要： A defect of a process based on an operation which is performed across the inside and outside of a display region on which a projected image is displayed is eliminated. Provided is a projector including detection means for repeatedly detecting a position indicated by an indicator 30 with respect to a screen 40 which is a projection screen onto which an image is projected, and supplying position information of the detected position; and generation means for generating position information of a third position located between a first position within a primary screen SC1 which is a display region of the image and a second position outside the primary screen SC1, in a case where the detection means detects the first position, and then detects the second position.
