摘要: The invention seeks to provide a liquid discharger which can be made more durable and smaller and which can be easily assembled; a liquid discharger which makes it possible to reduce errors occurring in the discharge rate; a liquid discharger which makes it possible to increase work efficiency; and an apparatus which comprises any one of the liquid dischargers. A liquid discharger 1A comprises a base 2A where a resilient tube 100 is disposed in a tube guide groove 211A. A retainer 4A is rotatably provided at the base 2A, with a plurality of balls 5 being mounted at the retainer 4A so that they can roll. The cross sectional shape of a surface 211 defining the tube guide groove 211A that contacts the tube 100 is an arc shape formed concentrically with the balls 5. The balls 5 which are held by the retainer 4A roll on the tube 100 while pressing and squashing a portion of the tube 100 as a rotor 3A rotates in order to discharge liquid inside the tube 100.

摘要: The invention provides an electronic device capable of increasing a braking torque of an electric power generator without causing a significant reduction in electric power generated by the electric power generator. Preferably; an electronically controlled mechanical clock includes an electric power generator 20 for converting mechanical energy transmitted from a spring via a wheel train to electrical energy and a rotation controller for controlling the rotation period of the electric power generator 20. The rotation controller includes switches 21 and 22 capable of connecting two terminals of the electric power generator into a closed loop state, a chopping signal generator for generating two or more types of chopping signals different in duty ratio or frequency for use in a strong braking operation, and chopping signal selection means 80 for selecting one signal from the two or more types of chopping signals, wherein, in the strong braking operation, the selected chopping signal is applied to the switches so as to control the electric power generator in a chopping fashion. The strong braking operation is performed in one of two modes such that a higher priority is given to generation of electric power or the braking torque depending on the mode thereby achieving an increase in the braking torque of the electric power generator without causing a significant reduction in the voltage generated by the electric power generator 20.

摘要: An electronic timepiece comprises an oscillator circuit (1) for generating an oscillating signal having a predetermined frequency, and a frequency divider circuit (2) responsive to the oscillating signal for supplying an output for intermittently driving a movable actuator (6). Storage means (7) are provided for storing kinetic energy of the actuator, together with means (10) for controlling release of the stored energy for smoothly driving a time keeping hand (9). Setting means (11) stop the time keeping hand during correction of the time displayed by the timepiece. The frequency divider circuit is arranged such that at least a portion thereof is held during time correction in the state prevailing immediately prior to time correction. This may be achieved by employing state holding means (3; 77; 75) for holding the at least a portion of the frequency divider circuit in said state during time correction. Alternatively, the frequency divider circuit may be arranged such that the at least a portion thereof is set in said state during time correction.

摘要: The invention intends to provide an electromagnetic transducer which can improve conversion efficiency by reducing the weight of a rotor and thinning a rotor shaft, and which has succeeded in reduction of both size and weight. An electromagnetic transducer includes a rotor comprising a plurality of magnets with N and S poles arrayed alternately in the direction of rotation of the rotor, and a back yoke for supporting the plurality of magnets. The back yoke is formed such that an area of a section area of the back yoke sectioned by a plane passing the center of each magnet as viewed in plan and the rotor shaft is smaller than a sectional area of another portion of the back yoke depending on distribution of magnetic force lines generated inside the back yoke between the N and S poles of the adjacent magnets. With such a reduction of the sectional area of the back yoke, the weight of the back yoke and hence the overall weight of the rotor can be reduced while the magnetic force lines flowing into the magnet are prevented from being saturated.

摘要: The invention provides an electronically controlled mechanical timepiece which can be handled easily and by which yields can be improved, a generated voltage can be increased and the number of rotations can be simply detected. A generator 30 of an electronically controlled mechanical timepiece comprises a rotor 12 rotating in association with the rotation of a wheel train, two plate-shaped stators 31, 32, a pair of semi-circular stator holes 35, 36 formed to respective ends of both the stators 31, 32 and disposed around the rotor 12 in the form of a circle in a state that both the stators 31, 32 are combined and coils 33, 34 wound around the periphery of at least one of the stators 31, 32. Since the stator holes 35, 36 are composed of the two stators 31, 32, external notches which are required by an integrally arranged stator need not be formed.
