摘要: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus comprising input means (6) for reading an image of an original document, storage means (43) for storing a plurality of partial images as respective partial document data, the partial images having been read by the input means (6) in a divided manner, black-document discrimination means (50) for discriminating whether the partial document data in question stored in the storage means (43) are mono-color document data or color document data, and joint-portion processing means (48) for recognizing joints located between the partial document data stored in the storage means (6) and for converting the color document data that have been discriminated by the black-document discriminating means (50) into mono-color document data, the respective partial document data being positioned based on the mono-color document data.

摘要: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus comprising: input means (6) for reading an image of an original document; storage means (43) for storing a plurality of partial images as respective partial document data, the partial images having been read by the input means (6) in a divided manner; document-color recognition means (95) for forming color data corresponding to the respective partial document data by recognizing the colors of the images read by the input means (6); and joint-portion processing means (48) for recognizing joints located between the partial document data stored in the storage means (43) by retrieving the pattern of colors in the partial document data while comparing the color data formed in the document-color recognition means (45) with the partial document data stored in the storage means (43), and for positioning the respective partial document data in accordance with the recognized joints.

摘要: An image forming apparatus including a condition determining device (21-23) for determining optimum conditions automatically for copying a document during copying, a blank lamp (4) for recording information concerning the determined conditions in code on a sheet of copy paper (13), a code scanner (19) for reading the coded information when producing a copy from the copy paper carrying the code thereon, and control circuits (14) for setting copying conditions according to the read information. With this configuration, when producing copies of the image on the original document, by reading the coded information and setting the copying conditions, an image satisfying the optimum conditions is readily obtained. Moreover, even when making copies from a copied image which was produced through subsequent copying, the formed images always have the same quality of the original.

摘要: An image processing apparatus including a joining-portion processing section (48) for combining partial images that have been read in a divided manner. Focused on partial document data predeterminately specified among a plurality of partial document data stored in an image memory (43), the joint-portion processing means performs a recognizing operation on the joints, a positioning operation and other operations beginning with the proximity of the specified partial document data, and the partial images are combined together to form one complete image. For example, in the case of copying an original document, which has a size too large to be copied in one operation, on one sheet of paper in a reduced manner, it becomes possible to eliminate time consuming tasks such as trimming and pasting the partial documents as well as calculating the reduction rate. Thus, the efficiency of the operation is improved, and by specifying the partial document data from which the operation is started, it is possible to join the partial images accurately irrespective of the order of inputting the partial documents.

摘要: An image processing apparatus including a joining-portion processing section (48) for combining partial images that have been read in a divided manner. Focused on partial document data predeterminately specified among a plurality of partial document data stored in an image memory (43), the joint-portion processing means performs a recognizing operation on the joints, a positioning operation and other operations beginning with the proximity of the specified partial document data, and the partial images are combined together to form one complete image.
