摘要:
An optical disc (2) onto which data can be recorded. The optical disc has a buffer area (data run in DRi, data run out DRo) for random access before and after each of the blocks (BLK, BLK1, CLK2). When starting recording of a new block, buffer areas of the new block and the existing block are overlapped when recording so that no empty space is caused. In the buffer area, phase synchronization loop for data reproduction, signal patterns for automatic gain adjustment and light source power automatic adjustment, synchronization pattern, and signal patterns used for generating reproduction clock and detecting a block reproduction end are recorded.
摘要:
Buffer areas are formed in the leading end and the trailing end of a block (RUB), a recording/reproduction unit, as a data run-in and a data run-out to make the data arrangement similar to that of a RAM disk, thus ensuring excellent compatibility. In the buffer areas, sink data (SA) is recorded in portions at an interval equal to the sink data interval in the continuous frames to allow sinks to constantly appear at regular intervals in the reproduced signal, advantageously establishing and protecting synchronization. This implements a ROM disk superior in compatibility with a RAM disk and advantageous to a synchronous system.
