    摘要: An electronic component includes a magnetic core member, a winding and a magnetic exterior body . The magnetic core member has a flat base (11) and a core (12). The flat base (11) has a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side surface (11a) and a second side surface (11b) opposite to the first side surface. The core (12) is located on the top surface of the flat base (11). A winding has an edgewise coil (21) and two non-wound flat wires (22,23) that extend from the edgewise coil. A magnetic exterior body covers at least the core and the edgewise coil. The two non-wound flat wires (22,23) continuously extend along the top surface (11e), the first side surface (11a), the bottom surface (11d) and the second side surface (11b) of the flat base in this order. The two non-wound flat wires located on the bottom surface work as electrodes. Two ends (22e, 23e) located near the second side surface of the two non-wound wires project from the top surface, and the two ends (22e, 23e) are bent toward the first side surface (11a) of the flat base.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing an electronic component, comprising:
    forming a magnetic core member (1) of a magnetic material and with a flat base (11) and a core (12), the flat base having a top surface (11e), a bottom surface (11d), a first side surface (11a) and a second side surface (11b) opposite to the first side surface, the core being located on the top surface of the flat base;
    forming a winding (2) that has an edgewise coil in which a flat wire is wound and in which the core is inserted, the winding having two non-wound flat wires (22, 23) that extend from the edgewise coil;
    placing the winding and the magnetic core in a mold;
    filling the mold with a mixture of a magnetic material and a resin; and
    performing a treatment on the mixture to form a magnetic exterior body (3) that covers at least the core, the edgewise coil and the ends of the non-wound flat wires at the second side surface of the base;
    wherein the mixture of a magnetic material and a resin also includes a solvent.
