摘要： The invention relates to a pneumatic tire having a tread provided on its outer surface with at least one circumferential grooves is disclosed.
On the opposite groove walls of the said groove multiple projecting blocks (5) are provided at a space (ℓ2) between adjoining projecting blocks (5) in the cir­cumferential direction corresponding to 10-50 % of the circumferential length (ℓ1) of the projecting block (5) and between the projecting blocks (5) a narrower groove (4) is formed circumferentially having the open groove width (W1) corresponding to 5-50% of the open groove width (W) of the above mentioned wider circumferential groove.
An application is the manufacturing of a heavy duty pneumatic tire.
