摘要： A process for producing a bishalophenyl disulfide, characterized by reacting a halothiophenol with an alkali metal hydroxide to obtain an alkali metal halothiophenolate and subsequently converting the halothiophenolate into a disulfide with an oxidizing agent in the presence of a mineral acid. By the process, a bishalophenyl disulfide having a high purity can be industrially produced in high yield.
