The route making unit sets the efficient routes satisfying the transportation orders from the shippers and the restraint conditions on operation, minimizing the number of vehicles dispatched, and selecting the optimum transportation bases. This gives a transportation arrangement system capable of improving the physical distribution efficiency while keeping down the total number of vehicles dispatched.

    摘要: A vehicle allocating center for making an operation plan is provided between a physical distribution base and a sender or between a transportation base and a sender. The vehicle allocating center has a master management section for managing item data, physical distribution base data, and vehicle and shed data about the vehicles and sheds managed by the transportation base, and an operation route setting section for setting operation routes based on the item, physical distribution base, and vehicle and shed data considering priority vehicles. The operation route setting section selects optimal transportation bases which meet the transportation requests by senders and restriction conditions for the operation and minimize the number of vehicles to be allocated and thereby sets efficient operation routes. Thus, a vehicle allocating system in which the number of vehicles to be allocated is minimized and the physical distribution efficiency is improved is realized.
