摘要： An electronic device and method thereof are provided, which allow an input device (e.g., a keypad or a keyboard) thereof to be customized. The electronic device may include a display module, a processor operatively connected to the display module, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions that cause, when executed, the processor to display a user interface based on execution of an application, to acquire keypad information and/or user input information from a user input related to a first keypad of the user interface, to determine characteristic information for a second keypad based on the acquired information, to organize the second keypad based on the characteristic information, and to display the second keypad through the user interface. Other embodiments are possible.

摘要： According to an example, a method for operating an electronic device including a display includes receiving a touch input with a point of contact on a first key among a plurality of keys in a virtual keyboard displayed via the display. The method includes identifying, based on a first character indicated by the first key, a second character indicated by a second key adjacent to the first key among the plurality of keys, and at least one third character that has been displayed in a text input portion displayed with the virtual keyboard before the touch input is received, a character from among the first character and the second character, in response to the touch input. The method includes displaying the identified character in the text input portion via the display.
