摘要： An electronic device comprising, a touch screen display, a communication module comprising long term evolution (LTE) communication circuit and new radio (NR) communication circuit, a communication processor configured to control the communication module, a memory, and an application processor, wherein the memory stores a plurality of operator information, wherein the communication processor is configured to receive a public land mobile network (PLMN) of a network to which the electronic device is connected, a system information block (SIB) indicating whether the network is available to evolved terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) new radio-dual connectivity (EN-DC), and restrict DCNR, from a LTE base station by using the LTE communication circuit, and provide the PLMN, the SIB, and the restrict DCNR to the application processor, wherein the application processor is configured to identify operator information among the plurality of operator information based on the PLMN, determine to display a LTE indicator or a 5 th generation (5G) indicator, based on the identified operator information, the SIB, and the restrict DCNR.

摘要： An electronic device includes a memory, a communication module, and a processor configured to identify an application identifier of an application stored in the memory, receive information on a network status through the communication module, identify an available PDU based on an allowed network slice included in the information on the network status, determine whether it is possible to establish a PDU session among the available PDU, based on the identified application identifier and the allowed network slice, and establish the PDU session based on a result of the determination. Further, a corresponding method performed by the electronic devices is provided.
